Weed Day is an annual event that provides an opportunity for pest control advisors, farm advisors, chemical company cooperators, college faculty and students, and regulatory officials to learn about current weed science research at UC Davis. The event begins with a morning bus tour to the campus research fields to view demonstrations and current research studies in terrestrial and aquatic weed control. Lunch and afternoon presentations will be indoors.

DATE and TIME
The Weed Day 2009 is Thursday, July 16, 2009. The program will begins at 8:00 AM.

LOCATION
Buehler Alumni Center, UC Davis
Interstate 80 to UC Davis exit. If traveling east bound turn left onto Old Davis Road. If traveling west bound turn right onto Old Davis Road; Turn right on Beau Vine Lane and left into the South Entry Parking Structure. Parking permits cost $6.00 per day. Visitor parking is available on posted levels. Parking permit dispensers accept quarters, one-dollar bills, five-dollar bills and VISA and MasterCards.

REGISTRATION FEE
$50.00 (registration payment received by 7/9/09)
$75.00 (registration payment received after 7/9/09)
$15.00 (student fee--must provide student ID at check in)

Registration fee includes handout material and lunch. Class size is limited, so early enrollment is suggested.
