The Aquatic Weed School is an intensive 2-day course focusing on issues associated with developing weed management strategies in a variety of aquatic ecosystems. The course provides a rare opportunity for professionals to efficiently update their understanding of aquatic weeds and interact with experts in this field. The Aquatic Weed School is designed for those involved in consulting, research, and management of aquatic weed systems throughout the western United States.
TOPICS include ecological classification and impacts of aquatic weeds :: biology of aquatic weeds :: physical and chemical characteristics of aquatic ecosystems :: regulatory issues—update on National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), are herbicides safe, label compliance, herbicide registration process :: aquatic weed ID :: equipment for monitoring :: IPM in aquatic plant management :: physical and mechanical control methods :: biological control :: chemical and non-chemical control :: integrated and adaptive aquatic plant management program, and more.

REFUND POLICY
Refunds will be granted (less a $75 processing fee) if a written request is received 9/9/2024. No refunds will be granted after 9/9/2024. Refunds or credit are not given for no-shows. We do not offer credit for future events. If you are unable to attend, you may send a substitute in your place at no additional charge.
In the event that this course is cancelled or postponed due to insufficient enrollments or unforeseen circumstances, we will fully refund the course fee but cannot be held responsible for any other expenses including cancellation or change charges assessed by airlines, hotels, travel agencies, or other organizations.
