Weed Day 2023

Come to the annual Weed Day event and find out what the latest University of California weed science research is.

MORNING SESSION
The event begins with a morning field tour of the UC Davis weed science research plots. Buses will depart promptly after the morning announcements from the UC Davis Buehler Alumni Center (530 Alumni Lane, Davis, CA.) Lunch and afternoon presentations will be indoors in the Buehler Alumni Center.

AFTERNOON SESSION
In the Buehler Alumni Center, UC faculty, staff and students will present information on projects that are not in-season for viewing or research located off-campus. Presentations will include basic research showing the scope of the Weed Science Program.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Pest control advisors, pesticide applicators, growers, farm advisors, industry cooperators, college faculty and students, and regulatory officials should not miss this event. Space is limited, so register early.

PARKING
Suggested visitor parking areas: Gateway Parking Structure or Lot 1 on Old Davis Road (Gateway District).
  • Two ways to pay for parking: ParkMobile app or permit dispenser (Note: you will need your license plate #.)
  • Vehicles with a CA Exempt or Federal State license plate do not need to purchase a daily parking permit and may park in an "A" or "C" permit space.

Registration fee includes handout material, light refreshments and lunch. Class size is limited, so early enrollment is suggested.

No purchase orders accepted and no invoices will be issued by our office. Payment must accompany the registration form—no exceptions.

REFUND POLICY
No refunds will be granted for this event. If you are unable to attend, you may send a substitute in your place (at no additional charge.)
